Have You Heard: Culturally Relevant and Sustaining Practice in Every Classroom

Have You Heard: Every Teacher Needs to Know About CRSE (Culturally Relevant and Sustaining Education). In April 2023, the PA State Board of Education amended Chapter 49 of the PA Code related to the certification of professional personnel. This three-hour session will provide an opportunity for teachers to explore the nine CRSE competencies, evaluate their own practices, and leave with a few tools for building CRSE into their daily work with young people in grades K-12.
