Culturally Responsive Teaching is an essential and practical examination of the relationship between culture and cognition that can transform the way we think about your role in the education of our children. The achievement gap remains problematic for educators of culturally and linguistically diverse students. Culturally responsive pedagogy has shown that many educators struggle with implementing culturally responsive instruction. Culturally Responsive Teaching is “Best Practice” and leads to student success. Participants will explore Culturally Responsive Teaching, evaluate their level of Culturally Responsive Teaching competence and develop a plan for becoming a more Culturally Responsive educator.
